7 GREAT VALENTINE'S DAY ACTIVITY IDEAS YOU CAN SHARE WITH YOUR PARTNER
The fact that Valentine’s Day falls on a Thursday this year does not mean that you can’t still make the most of the day.
The international day of love, Saint Valentine’s Day is filled with all sorts of drama breaking out on this romantic day, although it is not a public holiday in any country, it has its own special meaning for everyone.
I feel that many people don't observe Valentine because they are at loss of the activities to take part in on that day. Trust me, there is a whole lot you can do without breaking a bank. If you ask me, creating memories and fun experiences do not have to cost much, you just need to put in an effort to be creative.
Simply choose a fun activity from the list below and you and your sweetheart (or group of friends!) will be feeling the love in no time.
1. Plan a movie marathon
So many romantic movies are currently showing. Browse the movie listing together and agree on the time to see them.
2. Visit the first place you both met
Setting off to the spot you initially met brings back affectionate memories you will appreciate in quite a while to come. You can think back on the scene and conditions that prompted your gathering. You may much recollect that you both arrived at the scene unintentionally, reluctantly or something else.
3. Head to a museum
Visit that new exhibit or gallery you’ve been eyeing and be ready to experience some unexpected emotions.
4. Take a dance lesson together
Skip the traditional dinner and get on your feet for a dance lesson with your partner. It’s a perfect way to get close and create a sweet memory.
5. Double Dating
There is something about being around different couples that help revive your adoration and appreciation for your partner. You can get another happy couple who are friends to go along with you on fun exercises, date or excursion. You can play recreations and each couple conflicts with one another or ladies versus the men. This will bring a great deal of chuckling and fun.
6. Exchange Gifts
Even though Gary Chapman, the author of “Five Love Languages” mentioned gifts as one of the love
languages of some specific people, I honestly believe it is the love language of all people. You can never go wrong with a gift and most times, it doesn’t have to be expensive. Just put effort and a little creativity into getting something you know your partner will enjoy.
7. Indoor picnic
You don’t have to move an inch from the house to celebrate. Set a place where you both can sit comfortably on the floor. Get snacks, like cookies, cake or what you and your partner would like and just create your own little world right there in the house. Play games of various kind and have fun.
